Stefan Botis is a young emerging artist born in 1990 in Cluj Napoca, a city which has gained its place in the "12 cities that will shake up the art world in the 21st century" Adrian Ghenie, Victor Man, Mircea Suciu are amongst the Cluj School of Art artists who have already established themselves firmly in the art world. Stefan Botis is a painter who uses traditional methods and mediums where technical skills are a significant factor following Cluj Art School philosophy "Technique is what makes your ideas come to life". Stefan has a more academic approach to his work, taking into account composition, colour and contrast for a realistic feeling, offering the viewer the final esthetic atmosphere.
He is also well known as an activist who promotes his fellow peers by organising exciting cultural events which showcase their creative energies.
At the age of 30 he looks at the future with confidence and commitment to his work and nothing seems to stop him in his ascending path to world recognition.
